The Mayor and City Council of Vienna, Georgia has tentatively adopted a millage rate which wil require an increase in property taxes by 6.69 percent.
All concerned citizens are invited to the public hearing on this tax increase to be held at 12:00 noon or September 12, 2025 in Vienna City Hall
Times and places of additional public hearings on this tax increase are at Vienna City Hall on September 24, 2025 at 12:00 noon and 6:00 pm.
This tentative increase will result in a millage rate of 13.50 mills, an increase of 0.847 mills. Without this tentative tax increase, the millage rate will be no more than 12.653 mills. The proposed tax increase for a home with a fair market value of $100,000 is approximately $32.19 and the proposed tax increase for non-homestead property with a fair market value of $300,000 is approximately $101.64.
